February 2026
New Features, Bug Fixes, and Usability Improvements:
NEW: Story Studio Newsletter Builder! Easily send out email and pdf newsletters by choosing from your Updates, add a opening/closing, and copy/paste into your favorite email sending tool!
NEW: Organization management added with profile pages, team members, messaging and editing capability. This allows an Organization to promote and manage multiple projects.
NEW: Invite to Give feature that allows Goers to view their Followers and connect with them, inviting them to pray and support their ministry.
NEW: When creating a new mission Project, you can enter your existing mission web page and your Project info will pre-fill for you to review and edit.
NEW: A Giver who wants to go on mission or a short term mission trip can change to a Goer, create their own Project, gain access to fundraising tools, and connect with their Followers and supporters.
IMPROVEMENT: Scheduling Updates into the future now also sends Follower notifications once the posting date arrives.
IMPROVEMENT: When posting an Update, you can now decide to send or not send notifications to the Project Followers.
IMPROVEMENT: Project Team Members can now manage Project updates, followers, and view analytics.
FIX: Videos added into Story Studio were not saving to the Update when Published.
FIX: Organization logos weren't editable by team member.
FIX: PNG and GIF images added to an update were not maintaining their file MIME types and were being fetched as JPEG files causing SMS/MMS notificaion messages to fail for those particular updates.

New Features, Bug Fixes, and Usability Improvements:
NEW: Mission Story Studio: HUGE headache saver for Goers wanting to write engaging updates to varying donor types and send them out in different formats from Nghbr to text, social, and email. Game changer for personalizing fund raising efforts!
NEW: Donor Advised Fund info available in Projects for Givers to easily access, reducing the drag on back and forth with Goer.
NEW: Ability for Project owners to customize the donate button on their project page.
IMPROVEMENT: Mission Story Studio now accepts a Vimeo video URL as well as a Youtube URL.
IMPROVEMENT: On the Updates Feed page, the Update descriptions were shortened with a '... See More' that expands to view all. This helps when people are scrolling the feed to narrow in on what interests them more easily.
IMPROVEMENT: When viewing a Project Update, a video now takes priority and is displayed first in the images gallery.
IMPROVEMENT: A Giver can now Follow a Goer's Project(s) from the Goers public profile page.
IMPROVEMENT: Changed from 'gating' to 'bridging' the Goer's Project Profile page ... more project content visible for non-users with encouraging language to help increase Followers.
IMPROVEMENT: Project Profile page has open graph tags added to help with texting and social sharing engagement.
IMPROVEMENT: Project and User profile cover images were being reduced in file size too far, causing them to lose clarity and appear grainy. This has been resolved.
IMPROVEMENT: Prospective Givers that create their account by clicking Follow a Project on a specific Project or Update page are automatically Followers of that specific Project.
IMPROVEMENT: Donate button added to public project Update pages to encourage support.
IMPROVEMENT: Easier to reposition and size your user profile image/avatar by zooming and dragging.
IMPROVEMENT: Customize the donation button text to personalize it to your project.
IMPROVEMENT: Image added to SMS/Text message for new Project Update notifications to help improve engagement.
IMPROVEMENT: Goers on your Project Dashboard ... View all your Followers and whether they have text and email notifications enabled.
IMPROVEMENT: Updates on the Project Dashboard and Edit Project to make it easier to get your project live on Nghbr faster.
IMPROVEMENT: Changes on the My Projects page to rebalance the color for passive vs active elements.
IMPROVEMENT: Rebalance spacing and add labeling on the Project edit page for better usability.
IMPROVEMENT: Short-term missions project copy added to Starter subscription plan.
FIX: On the image/video scrolling gallery if a video was present it was not displaying correctly.
FIX: Mission Story Studio: Copy Message function wasn't formatting the link to the public Update correctly.
FIX: Mission Story Studio: A scenario existed where the Notes would disappear after saving.
FIX: SMS/Text message notifications had the incorrect url for Givers following Project Updates.

New Features, Bug Fixes, and Usability Improvements:
NEW: Text message notifications for Followers and Direct Message notifications.
NEW: All users (Giver and Goers) can easily update email, text consent and notifications in Preferences.
NEW: In Preferences, users can choose which Users in Nghbr can direct message them.
NEW: In Preferences, a Goer Daily Task email is available that emails a daily list of tasks past due, due, and coming soon.
IMPROVEMENT: Unsaved changes notification when leaving a page you've been editing ie. projects, updates, etc..
IMPROVEMENT: Usability improvements when viewing/editing User Profile ie. field ordering, button placement, etc..
IMPROVEMENT: Improved Project editing with better form field descriptions and layout ordering.
FIX: All user login sessions refactored to maintain sessions for longer periods of time while remaining secure.

Direct Message Givers following your project.
Invite team members to your mission project to help with updates and donor communication.
LInk sending and partner organizations to your mission project.
When sending emails to your donor/supporter contacts, easily insert project links and choose from recent update posts when crafting your email copy.
Added infinite scrolling to project updates for faster page load and better user experience.
